Nice words for a Debian maintainer...

install the gnome-codec-install package.

Launch totem and click on search when the "Search for suitable plugin?"
dialog box open. See which package are missing and install them.

For me gstreamer0.10-ffmpeg and gstreamer0.10-plugins-ugly packages was
missing.

Works fine now.
