hi christian

its a fresh installation of debian unstable with apt version 0.8.13

if i remove all file in /var/lib/apt/lists and do an apt-get update, there will
also be a downloaded file ...i18n-Translation-de (14B) from debian-multimedia
and the apt error message

aptitude i never used before, i am a big fan of apt ;-)

i just tested an other "third-party" repo, mirror of aptosid, this works fine
like the official debian one

best regards and thanks for your support
