ffmpeg mms protocol not working?

I have tried to get this address and many others like it to work using
ffplay and ffmpeg (recording it) in Debian Testing (version
5:0.6.2-0.4). It worked when I was using Debian Stable, and it still
works with VLC.

ffplay "mmsh://bcr.media.hinet.net/RA000072"

I have asked around just to be sure and others do not have this problem
when typing this same command.
