Hi
While using Debian-multimedia repository, gstreamer0.10-ffmpeg from
official Debian repo is uninstallable due to conflicts. Below are
aptitude log, sources.list and apt.conf. Aptitude's log is in Polish,
but I added some translations where appropriate. Sorry for
inconvenience. Since I'm a bit afraid of conflicts, I don't really
want to run it all again with LC_ALL=C.
Without gstreamer0.10-ffmpeg, players using GStreamer (at least Dragon
Player and Totem) could not display video in AVI and FLV files (audio
working fine).
in the meantime I had to drop debian-multimedia repo and install
kdenlive and ffmpeg from official Debian repo. They seem to be working
fine and no conflicts occur.
I'm using testing with bits of unstable.
If you need any more info, I would try my best to provide it.
