I use mencoder to reencode audio from an MP4 file but leave the video
untouched and remux the file later.
I use the wheezy/amd64 system.
The most recent release of mencoder (october) blows up when I do it.
It drops a floating point error and a zero byte file.
I dug into my apt cache and reinstalled the previous mencoder
(september) and it runs the full command on the file correctly.
If I use "-of lavf" it blows up, but if I use any other output format
it doesn't blow up, but doesn't give me the files I need.
I can paste the exact command I use and an example file later, but
that's all at home. Any further suggestions?
