Package: mplayer2
Version: 1:2.0~git20120128-0.0
Severity: normal

Mplayer2 uses 100% CPU when paused on a video file.
When unpaused - CPU usage becomes normal again, until next pause.

For the musical files - it is alright.

The package is from debian-multimedia repo.
