Hi Christian
I just tried to install dvbcut and I see a problem here (wheezy/amd64):
$ apt-cache policy dvbcut
dvbcut:
Installed: (none)
Candidate: 0.5.4+svn20090714-0.2
Version table:
0.5.4+svn20090714-0.2 0

0.5.4+svn178-2 0
500 http://ftp.de.debian.org/debian/ wheezy/main amd64 Packages
$ sudo apt-get install dvbcut

Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have
requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
or been moved out of Incoming.
The following information may help to resolve the situation:
The following packages have unmet dependencies:
dvbcut : Depends: libqt3-mt (>= 3:3.3.8b) but it is not installable
E: Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages.
As 0.5.4+svn178-2 in Debian proper seems to be 2yrs younger than the one
from dmo would it make sense to retire the dmo version (unless some
special plugins are configured in dmo).
What do you think?
cheers
