I found also, another way around the problem.
(although I can't explain it)!

1) I added the repository and it's key.
2) I ignored all updates and I didn't any pinning.
3) I installed avidemux (qt version).
4) I corrected the installed packages (aptitude -f install).
5) I refreshed the repo cache and....absolutely NO problematic
updates. Nothing nvidia related!

Just an alternate solution (to pinning or to forbidding-locking
specific packages).
As I said...I can't explain it! :-)
