I realize this is an old post, but I am running Debian stable (Wheezy)
and I run MythTV 0.27 from the wheezy-backports section of the
deb-multimedia repository. I have some problems with it, but I had far
worse problems on 0.26 (it crashed regularly). Based on my experience,
I would only upgrade if really necessary.
