Subject: Problems with hulu/flash/libhal
Running Debian jessie + dmo off a USB stick, I'm unable to view
content at hulu. I log in and start viewing a program; the site says
to wait for a one time loading experience, and after awhile displays a
message "There was a problem playing protected content (Error code
2203)". It then goes on to suggest various fixes 1) ensure HAL is
installed; 2) clear the flash cache; 3) reset license files.

I've tried 2 and 3 and restarted the browser without luck.

I can't find any HAL packages to install (in aptitude), though some
messages indicate they exist
(https://www.mail-archive.com/debian-user@lists.debian.org/msg696335.html
and the recent http://www.deb-multimedia.org/lurker/message/20151024.200119.5e8e6e1d.en.html).

Something funny seems to be going on with libhal. I can see the
binary for amd64 both on the mirror I'm using,
http://mirror.csclub.uwaterloo.ca/debian-multimedia/, and the main
site https://deb-multimedia.org/pool/main/h/hal-flash-dmo/hal-flash-dmo.
But when I look in the Packages file it doesn't seem to be there.

The first time I tried to log in to hulu my internet connection failed.

The system is a bit sluggish, probably from running off the USB
(though it is USB 3.0).

Do I need to do stuff in the 32 bit subsystem? I'm running amd64.

Thanks.
