Hi Christian,

TL;DR, please:

chmod +x /usr/share/mythtv/hardwareprofile/sendProfile.py

in mythtv-common.

I tried to use this due to [0] and it failed due to lacking the x bit.

It is default off and opt-in during the setup wizard in the frontend.
