Hi,
libxine1 is broken for me (AMD64, unstable).
xine and kaffeine player report a warning that no sound device is available. Video doesn't start to play.
vdr-sxfe for watching VDR via xine plugin crashes after a second.
This is the latest version from Debian Multimedia:
ii libxine1 1:1.1.19-3.3 Xine video/media player library, meta-package
ii libxine1-bin 1:1.1.19-3.3 Xine video/media player library, binary files
ii libxine1-console 1:1.1.19-3.3 libaa/libcaca/framebuffer/directfb related plugins for libxine1
ii libxine1-ffmpeg 1:1.1.19-3.3 MPEG-related plugins for libxine1
ii libxine1-gnome 1:1.1.19-3.3 GNOME-related plugins for libxine1
ii libxine1-misc-plugins 1:1.1.19-3.3 Input, audio output and post plugins for libxine1
ii libxine1-plugins 1:1.1.19-3.3 Xine video/media player library, meta package
ii libxine1-x 1:1.1.19-3.3 X desktop video output plugins for libxine1
I compiled the offical Debian unstable xine packages and it solved the problem:
ii libxine1 1.1.19-3.1 the xine video/media player library, meta-package
ii libxine1-bin 1.1.19-3.1 the xine video/media player library, binary files
ii libxine1-console 1.1.19-3.1 libaa/libcaca/framebuffer/directfb related plugins for libxine1
ii libxine1-ffmpeg 1.1.19-3.1 MPEG-related plugins for libxine1
ii libxine1-gnome 1.1.19-3.1 GNOME-related plugins for libxine1
ii libxine1-misc-plugins 1.1.19-3.1 Input, audio output and post plugins for libxine1
ii libxine1-plugins 1.1.19-3.1 the xine video/media player library, meta package
ii libxine1-x 1.1.19-3.1 X desktop video output plugins for libxine1
Any known issues with this version of xine?
Or am I the only one with this kind of problem?
BR
Stefan
