The cron.weekly job alreay do backup in /var/backups
and bad idea to store datas in /usr/local
Otherwise your database was broken and the best was to use
optimize_mythdb.pl for the mythtv-backend package to fix this issue
instead of doing ugly hack.
Now we don't know is optimize_mythdb.pl is working in that case.
